Borate gives pH stability, has algaestatic properties, leaves water feeling silkier and reduces chlorine usage. Will not raise chlorine levels, adds oxidizing agents to remove all combined chlorine (chloramines). Compatible with pools using chlorine, bromine, copper-silver ionization and chlorine generators. Allows quick access to the pool within 15 minutes after application. Apply 1 pound per 10,000 gallons of water when pool is not in use and with the pump running.
