Tanks are made from a high quality thermoplastic that has outstanding resistance to both physical and chemical degradation. Resistance to a wide array of wet and dry industrial chemicals make polyethylene ideal for batch tank mixing. The tanks are translucent, color is slightly off white to creamy yellow. Lid is manufactured from the same high quality polyethylene, ¾” thickness and is tightly fitted for the day tank to ensure stability. Each tank lid will be double hinged, one for addition of product, second for ease of lid removal. Lid for 55-gallon tank will have a threaded opening to accept the mixer. Lids for the 100 and 150 gallon will be manufactured with a substructure to mount the mixer. All lids will sit in the lip of the tank, and be bolted in-place. Mixers feature a 316 stainless steel shaft with an integral impeller. 1/20 horsepower motor is 1500 rpm, 115 volt, 60 cycle, ball bearing, shaded pole, totally enclosed air open. 1/3 horsepower motor is 1725 rpm, 115 volt, 60 cycle, split phase, sleeve bearing.
